“Fenezca ahora la maldad de los inicuos, mas establece tú al justo; Porque el Dios justo prueba la mente y el corazón”
“Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.”
1. Mi corazón se regocija en Jehová, Mi poder se exalta en Jehová; Mi boca se ensanchó sobre mis enemigos, Por cuanto me alegré en tu salvación.
2. No hay santo como Jehová; Porque no hay ninguno fuera de ti, Y no hay refugio como el Dios nuestro.
3. No multipliquéis palabras de grandeza y altanería; Cesen las palabras arrogantes de vuestra boca; Porque el Dios de todo saber es Jehová, Y a él toca el pesar las acciones.
8. Porque de Jehová son las columnas de la tierra, Y él afirmó sobre ellas el mundo.
9. Él guarda los pies de sus santos, Mas los impíos perecen en tinieblas; Porque nadie será fuerte por su propia fuerza.

1. My heart rejoiceth in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
2. There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
3. Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
8. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
9. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
10. The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

6 Con misericordia y verdad se corrige el pecado:

1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.

6 Porque yo Jehová no cambio;
10 … y probadme ahora en esto, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, si no os abriré las ventanas de los cielos, y derramaré sobre vosotros bendición hasta que sobreabunde.
18 Entonces os volveréis, y discerniréis la diferencia entre el justo y el malo, entre el que sirve a Dios y el que no le sirve.

10 …also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
1 Entonces Jesús fue llevado por el Espíritu al desierto, para ser tentado por el diablo.
3 Y vino a él el tentador, y le dijo:
9 Todo esto te daré, si postrado me adorares.
10 Entonces Jesús le dijo: Vete, Satanás, porque escrito está: Al Señor tu Dios adorarás, y a él sólo servirás.
11 El diablo entonces le dejó; y he aquí vinieron ángeles y le servían.
17 Desde entonces comenzó Jesús a predicar, y a decir: Arrepentíos, porque el reino de los cielos se ha acercado.

30 Y se le acercó mucha gente que traía consigo a cojos, ciegos, mudos, mancos, y otros muchos enfermos; y los pusieron a los pies de Jesús, y los sanó:
31 de manera que la multitud se maravillaba, viendo a los mudos hablar, a los mancos sanados, a los cojos andar, y a los ciegos ver; y glorificaban al Dios de Israel.
30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:
31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
23 Y alguien le dijo: Señor, ¿son pocos los que se salvan? Y él les dijo:
24 Esforzaos a entrar por la puerta angosta; porque os digo que muchos procurarán entrar, y no podrán.
25 Después que el padre de familia se haya levantado y cerrado la puerta, y estando fuera empecéis a llamar a la puerta, diciendo: Señor, Señor, ábrenos;
27 Pero os dirá: Os digo que no sé de dónde sois; apartaos de mí todos vosotros, hacedores de maldad.
28 Allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes,
30 Y he aquí, hay postreros que serán primeros, y primeros que serán postreros.
23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us;
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth,
30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
17 Así que vosotros, oh amados, sabiéndolo de antemano, guardaos, no sea que arrastrados por el error de los inicuos, caigáis de vuestra firmeza.
18 Antes bien, creced en la gracia y el conocimiento de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo. A él sea gloria ahora y hasta el día de la eternidad. Amén.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
En la Ciencia Cristiana, magnetismo animal o hipnotismo es el término específico para el error, o mente mortal. Es la creencia errónea de que la mente está dentro de la materia y que es mala y buena a la vez; que el mal es tan real como el bien y más poderoso. Esa creencia no tiene ni una sola cualidad de la Verdad.
En realidad, no hay mente mortal y, en consecuencia, no hay transmisión de pensamiento y fuerza de voluntad mortales. La vida y el ser son de Dios.
As named in Christian Science, animal magnetism or hypnotism is the specific term for error, or mortal mind. It is the false belief that mind is in matter, and is both evil and good; that evil is as real as good and more powerful. This belief has not one quality of Truth.
In reality there is no mortal mind, and consequently no transference of mortal thought and will-power. Life and being are of God.
El magnetismo animal no tiene base científica, puesto que Dios gobierna todo lo que es real, armonioso y eterno, y Su poder no es ni animal ni humano. Siendo la base del magnetismo animal una creencia y ésta una creencia animal, en la Ciencia el magnetismo animal, mesmerismo o hipnotismo es una mera negación que no posee inteligencia, poder ni realidad, y para los sentidos es un concepto irreal de la llamada mente mortal.
Animal magnetism has no scientific foundation, for God governs all that is real, harmonious, and eternal, and His power is neither animal nor human. Its basis being a belief and this belief animal, in Science animal magnetism, mesmerism, or hypnotism is a mere negation, possessing neither intelligence, power, nor reality, and in sense it is an unreal concept of the so-called mortal mind.
La Ciencia Cristiana va hasta el fondo de la acción mental y revela la teodicea que indica la justicia de toda acción divina como la emanación de la Mente divina, y la consiguiente injusticia de la llamada acción opuesta —el mal, el ocultismo, la nigromancia, el mesmerismo, el magnetismo animal, el hipnotismo.
Christian Science goes to the bottom of mental action, and reveals the theodicy which indicates the rightness of all divine action, as the emanation of divine Mind, and the consequent wrongness of the opposite so-called action, — evil, occultism, necromancy, mesmerism, animal magnetism, hypnotism.
Somos Científicos Cristianos sólo a medida que dejemos de confiar en lo que es falso y nos aferremos a lo verdadero. No somos Científicos Cristianos hasta que no hayamos dejado todo por Cristo. Las opiniones humanas no son espirituales. Proceden de oídas, de la corporalidad en lugar del Principio, y de lo mortal en lugar de lo inmortal. El Espíritu no está separado de Dios. El Espíritu es Dios.
El poder que yerra es una creencia material, una mal llamada fuerza que es ciega, el producto de la voluntad y no de la sabiduría, de la mente mortal y no de la inmortal. Es la catarata que se despeña, la llama devoradora, el soplo de la tempestad. Es rayo y huracán, todo lo que es egoísta, malvado, ímprobo e impuro.
El poder moral y espiritual pertenece al Espíritu, que mantiene "los vientos en Sus puños"; y esa enseñanza concuerda con la Ciencia y la armonía. En la Ciencia no puede existir ningún poder opuesto a Dios, y los sentidos físicos tienen que abandonar su falso testimonio. Vuestra influencia para bien depende del peso que echéis en el platillo correcto de la balanza. El bien que hacéis e incorporáis os da el único poder obtenible. El mal no es poder. Es un remedo de la fuerza, el cual muy pronto muestra su debilidad y cae para jamás levantarse.
Andamos en los pasos de la Verdad y el Amor al seguir el ejemplo de nuestro Maestro en la comprensión de la metafísica divina. El cristianismo es la base de la curación verdadera. Todo lo que mantenga al pensamiento humano de acuerdo con el amor desinteresado, recibe directamente el poder divino.
We are Christian Scientists, only as we quit our reliance upon that which is false and grasp the true. We are not Christian Scientists until we leave all for Christ. Human opinions are not spiritual. They come from the hearing of the ear, from corporeality instead of from Principle, and from the mortal instead of from the immortal. Spirit is not separate from God. Spirit is God.
Erring power is a material belief, a blind miscalled force, the offspring of will and not of wisdom, of the mortal mind and not of the immortal. It is the headlong cataract, the devouring flame, the tempest's breath. It is lightning and hurricane, all that is selfish, wicked, dishonest, and impure.
Moral and spiritual might belong to Spirit, who holds the "wind in His fists;" and this teaching accords with Science and harmony. In Science, you can have no power opposed to God, and the physical senses must give up their false testimony. Your influence for good depends upon the weight you throw into the right scale. The good you do and embody gives you the only power obtainable. Evil is not power. It is a mockery of strength, which erelong betrays its weakness and falls, never to rise.
We walk in the footsteps of Truth and Love by following the example of our Master in the understanding of divine metaphysics. Christianity is the basis of true healing. Whatever holds human thought in line with unselfed love, receives directly the divine power.
El hombre malvado no es el gobernante de su prójimo honrado. Entiéndase que el triunfo en el error significa derrota en la Verdad. El lema de la Ciencia Cristiana es bíblico: "Deje el impío su camino, y el hombre inicuo sus pensamientos".
Para determinar nuestro progreso, debemos saber dónde ponemos nuestros afectos y a quién reconocemos y obedecemos como Dios. Si nos estamos sintiendo más cerca del Amor divino, si nos es más amado y más real, entonces la materia se está sometiendo al Espíritu.
The wicked man is not the ruler of his upright neighbor. Let it be understood that success in error is defeat in Truth. The watchword of Christian Science is Scriptural: "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts."
To ascertain our progress, we must learn where our affections are placed and whom we acknowledge and obey as God. If divine Love is becoming nearer, dearer, and more real to us, matter is then submitting to Spirit.
Los mortales avanzan hacia el bien o hacia el mal a medida que transcurre el tiempo. Si los mortales no progresan, los fracasos pasados se repetirán, hasta que toda labor deficiente sea borrada o rectificada. Si ahora estamos satisfechos con la maleficencia, tenemos que aprender a aborrecerla. Si ahora estamos contentos con la ociosidad, tenemos que descontentarnos con ella. Recordad que, tarde o temprano, ya sea por el sufrimiento o por la Ciencia, la humanidad tendrá que convencerse del error que se ha de vencer.
Al tratar de deshacer los errores de los sentidos, uno deberá pagar plena y honradamente hasta el último cuadrante, hasta que todo error sea finalmente subyugado a la Verdad. El método divino de saldar la paga del pecado consiste en desenmarañar nuestros enredos y aprender por experiencia a distinguir entre los sentidos y el Alma.
Mortals move onward towards good or evil as time glides on. If mortals are not progressive, past failures will be repeated until all wrong work is effaced or rectified. If at present satisfied with wrong-doing, we must learn to loathe it. If at present content with idleness, we must become dissatisfied with it. Remember that mankind must sooner or later, either by suffering or by Science, be convinced of the error that is to be overcome.
In trying to undo the errors of sense one must pay fully and fairly the utmost farthing, until all error is finally brought into subjection to Truth. The divine method of paying sin's wages involves unwinding one's snarls, and learning from experience how to divide between sense and Soul.
Nuestra mira, un punto más allá de la fe, debiera ser el encuentro de los pasos de la Verdad, el camino a la salud y la santidad. Debiéramos esforzarnos por alcanzar la altura del Horeb, donde Dios es revelado; y la piedra angular de toda construcción espiritual es la pureza. El bautismo por el Espíritu, que lava al cuerpo de todas las impurezas de la carne, significa que los de limpio corazón ven a Dios y están acercándose a la Vida espiritual y su demostración.
Es "más fácil pasar un camello por el ojo de una aguja", que entrar las creencias pecaminosas en el reino de los cielos, la armonía eterna. Por medio del arrepentimiento, el bautismo espiritual y la regeneración los mortales se despojan de sus creencias materiales y de su falsa individualidad. Sólo a una cuestión de tiempo se reduce la declaración divina: "Todos Me conocerán [a Mí, Dios], desde el más pequeño de ellos hasta el más grande".
One's aim, a point beyond faith, should be to find the footsteps of Truth, the way to health and holiness. We should strive to reach the Horeb height where God is revealed; and the corner-stone of all spiritual building is purity. The baptism of Spirit, washing the body of all the impurities of flesh, signifies that the pure in heart see God and are approaching spiritual Life and its demonstration.
It is "easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle," than for sinful beliefs to enter the kingdom of heaven, eternal harmony. Through repentance, spiritual baptism, and regeneration, mortals put off their material beliefs and false individuality. It is only a question of time when "they shall all know Me [God], from the least of them unto the greatest."
… el yo humano debe evangelizarse. Dios exige que aceptemos esa tarea con amor hoy mismo y que abandonemos lo material tan pronto como sea posible, y nos ocupemos en lo espiritual, lo cual determina lo exterior y verdadero.
Si te aventuras sobre la tranquila superficie del error y simpatizas con el error, ¿qué perturbará las aguas? ¿Qué arrancará la máscara al error?
Si echas tu barca sobre las siempre agitadas pero saludables aguas de la verdad, encontrarás tempestades. De tu bien se hablará mal. Eso es la cruz. Tómala y llévala, porque por medio de ella ganarás y te ceñirás la corona. Peregrino en la tierra, tu morada es el cielo; extranjero, eres el huésped de Dios.
…the human self must be evangelized. This task God demands us to accept lovingly to-day, and to abandon so fast as practical the material, and to work out the spiritual which determines the outward and actual.
If you venture upon the quiet surface of error and are in sympathy with error, what is there to disturb the waters? What is there to strip off error's disguise?
If you launch your bark upon the ever-agitated but healthful waters of truth, you will encounter storms. Your good will be evil spoken of. This is the cross. Take it up and bear it, for through it you win and wear the crown. Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven; stranger, thou art the guest of God.

Será deber de cada miembro de esta Iglesia orar diariamente: "Venga Tu reino"; haz que el reino de la Verdad, la Vida y el Amor divinos se establezca en mí, y quita de mí todo pecado; ¡y que Tu Palabra fecunde los afectos de toda la humanidad, y los gobierne!
Ni la animosidad ni el mero afecto personal deben impulsar los móviles o actos de los miembros de La Iglesia Madre. En la Ciencia, sólo el Amor divino gobierna al hombre, y el Científico Cristiano refleja la dulce amenidad del Amor al reprender el pecado, al expresar verdadera confraternidad, caridad y perdón. Los miembros de esta Iglesia deben velar y orar diariamente para ser liberados de todo mal, de profetizar, juzgar, condenar, aconsejar, influir o ser influidos erróneamente.
Será deber de todo miembro de esta Iglesia defenderse a diario de toda sugestión mental agresiva, y no dejarse inducir a olvido o negligencia en cuanto a su deber para con Dios, para con su Guía y para con la humanidad. Por sus obras será juzgado, — y justificado o condenado.
