6 Y tú, hijo de hombre, no les temas, ni tengas miedo de sus palabras, aunque te hallas entre zarzas y espinos, y moras con escorpiones; no tengas miedo de sus palabras, ni temas delante de ellos, porque son casa rebelde.
8 Mas tú, hijo de hombre, oye lo que yo te hablo; no seas rebelde como la casa rebelde;
2 And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God.
5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

2 Hijo de hombre, profetiza contra los pastores de Israel; profetiza, y di a los pastores: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: ¡Ay de los pastores de Israel, que se apacientan a sí mismos! ¿No apacientan los pastores a los rebaños?
4 No fortalecisteis las débiles, ni curasteis la enferma; no vendasteis la perniquebrada, no volvisteis al redil la descarriada, ni buscasteis la perdida, sino que os habéis enseñoreado de ellas con dureza y con violencia.
5 Y andan errantes por falta de pastor, y son presa de todas las fieras del campo, y se han dispersado.
6 …y no hubo quien las buscase, ni quien preguntase por ellas.
9 por tanto, oh pastores, oíd palabra de Jehová.
12 Como reconoce su rebaño el pastor el día que está en medio de sus ovejas esparcidas, así reconoceré mis ovejas, y las libraré de todos los lugares en que fueron esparcidas el día del nublado y de la oscuridad.
14 En buenos pastos las apacentaré, y en los altos montes de Israel estará su aprisco;
25 Y estableceré con ellos pacto de paz, y quitaré de la tierra las fieras;
26 Y daré bendición a ellas y a los alrededores de mi collado,

1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.
5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
6 …and none did search or seek after them.
9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;
12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be:
25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land:
26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing;

1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
12 …saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
28 I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
7 De cierto, de cierto os digo: Yo soy la puerta de las ovejas.
9 …el que por mí entrare, será salvo; y entrará, y saldrá, y hallará pastos.
10 yo he venido para que tengan vida, y para que la tengan en abundancia.
14 Yo soy el buen pastor; y conozco mis ovejas, y las mías me conocen,

7 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

10 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
34 Venid, benditos de mi Padre, heredad el reino preparado para vosotros desde la fundación del mundo.
34 Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
2 Apacentad la grey de Dios que está entre vosotros, cuidando de ella, no por fuerza, sino voluntariamente;
3 no como teniendo señorío sobre los que están a vuestro cuidado, sino siendo ejemplos de la grey.
4 Y cuando aparezca el Príncipe de los pastores, vosotros recibiréis la corona incorruptible de gloria.
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly;
3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
Tal como una gota de agua es una con el mar, un rayo de luz uno con el sol, así Dios y el hombre, Padre e hijo, son uno en el ser.
As a drop of water is one with the ocean, a ray of light one with the sun, even so God and man, Father and son, are one in being.
En la Ciencia el hombre es linaje del Espíritu. Lo bello, lo bueno y lo puro constituyen su ascendencia. Su origen no está, como el de los mortales, en el instinto bruto, ni pasa él por condiciones materiales antes de alcanzar la inteligencia. El Espíritu es la fuente primitiva y última de su ser; Dios es su Padre, y la Vida es la ley de su existencia.
In Science man is the offspring of Spirit. The beautiful, good, and pure constitute his ancestry. His origin is not, like that of mortals, in brute instinct, nor does he pass through material conditions prior to reaching intelligence. Spirit is his primitive and ultimate source of being; God is his Father, and Life is the law of his being.
La primera exigencia de esta Ciencia es: "No tendrás dioses ajenos delante de mí". Ese mí es Espíritu. Por lo tanto, el mandato significa esto: No tendrás ninguna inteligencia, ninguna vida, ninguna sustancia, ninguna verdad, ningún amor, que no sea espiritual. La segunda es semejante: "Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo". Debiera entenderse a fondo que todos los hombres tienen una sola Mente, un solo Dios y Padre, una sola Vida, Verdad y Amor. El género humano se perfeccionará en la medida en que se evidencie ese hecho, cesarán las guerras y se establecerá la verdadera hermandad del hombre. No teniendo otros dioses, no recurriendo a ninguna otra sino a la única Mente perfecta para que le guíe, el hombre es la semejanza de Dios, puro y eterno, y tiene esa Mente que estaba también en Cristo.
The first demand of this Science is, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." This me is Spirit. Therefore the command means this: Thou shalt have no intelligence, no life, no substance, no truth, no love, but that which is spiritual. The second is like unto it, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." It should be thoroughly understood that all men have one Mind, one God and Father, one Life, Truth, and Love. Mankind will become perfect in proportion as this fact becomes apparent, war will cease and the true brotherhood of man will be established. Having no other gods, turning to no other but the one perfect Mind to guide him, man is the likeness of God, pure and eternal, having that Mind which was also in Christ.
El Cristo era el Espíritu a que Jesús aludió en sus propias declaraciones: "Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida" y "Yo y el Padre uno somos". Este Cristo, o divinidad del hombre Jesús, era su naturaleza divina, la santidad que le animaba. La Verdad, la Vida y el Amor divinos le daban a Jesús autoridad sobre el pecado, la enfermedad y la muerte. Su misión fue revelar la Ciencia del ser celestial, probar lo que Dios es y lo que hace por el hombre.
The Christ was the Spirit which Jesus implied in his own statements: "I am the way, the truth, and the life;" "I and my Father are one." This Christ, or divinity of the man Jesus, was his divine nature, the godliness which animated him. Divine Truth, Life, and Love gave Jesus authority over sin, sickness, and death. His mission was to reveal the Science of celestial being, to prove what God is and what He does for man.
Jesús enseñó el camino de la Vida por medio de la demostración, para que pudiéramos comprender cómo ese Principio divino sana enfermos, echa fuera el error y triunfa sobre la muerte. Jesús presentó el ideal de Dios mejor de lo que podría haberlo hecho cualquier hombre cuyo origen fuera menos espiritual. Por su obediencia a Dios, demostró más espiritualmente que todos los demás el Principio del ser. De ahí la fuerza de su amonestación: "Si me amáis, guardad mis mandamientos."
Jesus taught the way of Life by demonstration, that we may understand how this divine Principle heals the sick, casts out error, and triumphs over death. Jesus presented the ideal of God better than could any man whose origin was less spiritual. By his obedience to God, he demonstrated more spiritually than all others the Principle of being. Hence the force of his admonition, "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
El universo, lo mismo que el hombre, debe ser interpretado por la Ciencia desde su Principio divino, Dios, y entonces puede comprenderse; pero cuando se explica sobre la base del sentido físico y se representa como sujeto a desarrollo, madurez y decadencia, el universo, lo mismo que el hombre, es, y tiene que continuar siendo, un enigma.
La adhesión, la cohesión y la atracción son propiedades de la Mente. Pertenecen al Principio divino y sostienen el equilibrio de esa fuerza del pensamiento que lanzó a la tierra en su órbita y dijo a la ola orgullosa: "Hasta aquí, y no más".
El Espíritu es la vida, la sustancia y la continuidad de todas las cosas. Andamos sobre fuerzas. Retiradlas, y la creación forzosamente se desplomará. El conocimiento humano las llama fuerzas de la materia; pero la Ciencia divina declara que pertenecen por entero a la Mente divina,
que son inherentes a esa Mente, y así las restituye a su justo lugar y clasificación.
The universe, like man, is to be interpreted by Science from its divine Principle, God, and then it can be understood; but when explained on the basis of physical sense and represented as subject to growth, maturity, and decay, the universe, like man, is, and must continue to be, an enigma.
Adhesion, cohesion, and attraction are properties of Mind. They belong to divine Principle, and support the equipoise of that thought-force, which launched the earth in its orbit and said to the proud wave, "Thus far and no farther."
Spirit is the life, substance, and continuity of all things. We tread on forces. Withdraw them, and creation must collapse. Human knowledge calls them forces of matter; but divine Science declares that they belong wholly to divine Mind, are inherent in this Mind, and so restores them to their rightful home and classification.
La Mente es el Principio divino, el Amor, y no puede producir nada desemejante al eterno Padre-Madre, Dios. La realidad es espiritual, armoniosa, inmutable, inmortal, divina, eterna. Nada que no sea espiritual puede ser real, armonioso o eterno.
Mind is the divine Principle, Love, and can produce nothing unlike the eternal Father-Mother, God. Reality is spiritual, harmonious, immutable, immortal, divine, eternal. Nothing unspiritual can be real, harmonious, or eternal.
Sí se admite que Dios es la Mente y Vida únicas, cesa toda oportunidad para el pecado y la muerte. Cuando aprendemos en la Ciencia a ser perfectos, así como nuestro Padre celestial es perfecto, el pensamiento se dirige por vías nuevas y saludables hacia la contemplación de cosas inmortales, y se vuelve de la materialidad hacia el Principio del universo, incluso el hombre armonioso.
Las creencias materiales y la comprensión espiritual jamás se mezclan. La última destruye las primeras. La discordancia es la nada llamada error. La armonía es el algo llamado Verdad.
If God is admitted to be the only Mind and Life, there ceases to be any opportunity for sin and death. When we learn in Science how to be perfect even as our Father in heaven is perfect, thought is turned into new and healthy channels, — towards the contemplation of things immortal and away from materiality to the Principle of the universe, including harmonious man.
Material beliefs and spiritual understanding never mingle. The latter destroys the former. Discord is the nothingness named error. Harmony is the somethingness named Truth.
…el hombre armonioso e inmortal ha existido eternamente, y siempre está más allá y por encima de la ilusión mortal de que pueda existir vida, sustancia e inteligencia en la materia. Esa declaración está basada en la verdad y no en una fábula. La Ciencia del ser revela que el hombre es perfecto, así como el Padre es perfecto, porque el Alma, o la Mente, del hombre espiritual es Dios, el Principio divino de todo ser, y porque ese hombre real es gobernado por el Alma y no por los sentidos, por la ley del Espíritu y no por las supuestas leyes de la materia.
Dios es Amor.
…harmonious and immortal man has existed forever, and is always beyond and above the mortal illusion of any life, substance, and intelligence as existent in matter. This statement is based on fact, not fable. The Science of being reveals man as perfect, even as the Father is perfect, because the Soul, or Mind, of the spiritual man is God, the divine Principle of all being, and because this real man is governed by Soul instead of sense, by the law of Spirit, not by the so-called laws of matter.
God is Love.
Dios da la idea menor de Sí mismo como un eslabón para la mayor y, en cambio, la más alta siempre protege a la más baja. Los ricos en espíritu ayudan a los pobres en una gran hermandad, teniendo todos el mismo Principio, o Padre; y bendito es ese hombre que ve la necesidad de su hermano y la satisface, procurando su propio bien beneficiando a otro. El Amor da a la idea espiritual más pequeña poder, inmortalidad y bondad, que brillan a través de todo, como la flor brilla a través del capullo. God gives the lesser idea of Himself for a link to the greater, and in return, the higher always protects the lower. The rich in spirit help the poor in one grand brotherhood, all having the same Principle, or Father; and blessed is that man who seeth his brother's need and supplieth it, seeking his own in another's good. Love giveth to the least spiritual idea might, immortality, and goodness, which shine through all as the blossom shines through the bud. All the varied expressions of God reflect health, holiness, immortality — infinite Life, Truth, and Love.
Con un mismo Padre, o sea Dios, todos en la familia humana serían hermanos; y con una Mente única, y siendo ésa Dios, o el bien, la hermandad del hombre consistiría de Amor y Verdad y tendría unidad de Principio y poder espiritual, que constituyen la Ciencia divina.
With one Father, even God, the whole family of man would be brethren; and with one Mind and that God, or good, the brotherhood of man would consist of Love and Truth, and have unity of Principle and spiritual power which constitute divine Science.
“No temáis, manada pequeña, porque a vuestro Padre le ha placido daros el reino". Esa verdad es Ciencia Cristiana.
"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." This truth is Christian Science.

Será deber de cada miembro de esta Iglesia orar diariamente: "Venga Tu reino"; haz que el reino de la Verdad, la Vida y el Amor divinos se establezca en mí, y quita de mí todo pecado; ¡y que Tu Palabra fecunde los afectos de toda la humanidad, y los gobierne!
Ni la animosidad ni el mero afecto personal deben impulsar los móviles o actos de los miembros de La Iglesia Madre. En la Ciencia, sólo el Amor divino gobierna al hombre, y el Científico Cristiano refleja la dulce amenidad del Amor al reprender el pecado, al expresar verdadera confraternidad, caridad y perdón. Los miembros de esta Iglesia deben velar y orar diariamente para ser liberados de todo mal, de profetizar, juzgar, condenar, aconsejar, influir o ser influidos erróneamente.
Será deber de todo miembro de esta Iglesia defenderse a diario de toda sugestión mental agresiva, y no dejarse inducir a olvido o negligencia en cuanto a su deber para con Dios, para con su Guía y para con la humanidad. Por sus obras será juzgado, — y justificado o condenado.
