1. Jehová es mi pastor; nada me faltará.
2. En lugares de delicados pastos me hará descansar; Junto a aguas de reposo me pastoreará.
3. Confortará mi alma; Me guiará por sendas de justicia por amor de su nombre.
4. Aunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte, No temeré mal alguno, porque tú estarás conmigo; Tu vara y tu cayado me infundirán aliento.
5. Aderezas mesa delante de mí en presencia de mis angustiadores; Unges mi cabeza con aceite; mi copa está rebosando.
6. Ciertamente el bien y la misericordia me seguirán todos los días de mi vida, Y en la casa de Jehová moraré por largos días.
1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Leccion Sermon
1 A todos los sedientos: Venid a las aguas; y los que no tienen dinero, venid, comprad y comed. Venid, comprad sin dinero y sin precio, vino y leche.
3 Inclinad vuestro oído, y venid a mí; oíd, y vivirá vuestra alma; y haré con vosotros pacto eterno, las misericordias firmes a David.
9 Como son más altos los cielos que la tierra, así son mis caminos más altos que vuestros caminos, y mis pensamientos más que vuestros pensamientos.
11 así será mi palabra que sale de mi boca; no volverá a mí vacía, sino que hará lo que yo quiero, y será prosperada en aquello para que la envié.
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
1 Entonces Elías tisbita, que era de los moradores de Galaad, dijo a Acab: Vive Jehová Dios de Israel, en cuya presencia estoy, que no habrá lluvia ni rocío en estos años, sino por mi palabra.
8 Vino luego a él palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
9 Levántate, vete a Sarepta de Sidón, y mora allí; he aquí yo he dado orden allí a una mujer viuda que te sustente.
10 Entonces él se levantó y se fue a Sarepta. Y cuando llegó a la puerta de la ciudad, he aquí una mujer viuda que estaba allí recogiendo leña; y él la llamó, y le dijo: Te ruego que me traigas un poco de agua en un vaso, para que beba.
11 Y yendo ella para traérsela, él la volvió a llamar, y le dijo: Te ruego que me traigas también un bocado de pan en tu mano.
12 Y ella respondió: Vive Jehová tu Dios, que no tengo pan cocido; solamente un puñado de harina tengo en la tinaja, y un poco de aceite en una vasija; y ahora recogía dos leños, para entrar y prepararlo para mí y para mi hijo, para que lo comamos, y nos dejemos morir.
13 Elías le dijo: No tengas temor; ve, haz como has dicho; pero hazme a mí primero de ello una pequeña torta cocida debajo de la ceniza, y tráemela; y después harás para ti y para tu hijo.
14 Porque Jehová Dios de Israel ha dicho así: La harina de la tinaja no escaseará, ni el aceite de la vasija disminuirá, hasta el día en que Jehová haga llover sobre la faz de la tierra.
15 Entonces ella fue e hizo como le dijo Elías; y comió él, y ella, y su casa, muchos días.
16 Y la harina de la tinaja no escaseó, ni el aceite de la vasija menguó, conforme a la palabra que Jehová había dicho por Elías.
1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.
6 El que siembra escasamente, también segará escasamente; y el que siembra generosamente, generosamente también segará.
7 Cada uno dé como propuso en su corazón: no con tristeza, ni por necesidad, porque Dios ama al dador alegre.
8 Y poderoso es Dios para hacer que abunde en vosotros toda gracia, a fin de que, teniendo siempre en todas las cosas todo lo suficiente, abundéis para toda buena obra;
11 para que estéis enriquecidos en todo para toda liberalidad, la cual produce por medio de nosotros acción de gracias a Dios.
6 He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

24 Considerad los cuervos, que ni siembran, ni siegan; que ni tienen despensa, ni granero, y Dios los alimenta. ¿No valéis vosotros mucho más que las aves?
25 ¿Y quién de vosotros podrá con afanarse añadir a su estatura un codo?
26 Pues si no podéis ni aun lo que es menos, ¿por qué os afanáis por lo demás?
27 Considerad los lirios, cómo crecen; no trabajan, ni hilan; mas os digo, que ni aun Salomón con toda su gloria se vistió como uno de ellos.
28 Y si así viste Dios la hierba que hoy está en el campo, y mañana es echada al horno, ¿cuánto más a vosotros, hombres de poca fe?
29 Vosotros, pues, no os preocupéis por lo que habéis de comer, ni por lo que habéis de beber, ni estéis en ansiosa inquietud.
30 Porque todas estas cosas buscan las gentes del mundo; pero vuestro Padre sabe que tenéis necesidad de estas cosas.
31 Mas buscad el reino de Dios, y todas estas cosas os serán añadidas.
32 No temáis, manada pequeña, porque a vuestro Padre le ha placido daros el reino.
22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
1 Así que, hermanos míos amados y deseados, gozo y corona mía, estad así firmes en el Señor, amados.
4 Regocijaos en el Señor siempre. Otra vez digo: ¡Regocijaos!
5 Vuestra gentileza sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.
6 Por nada estéis afanosos, sino sean conocidas vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con acción de gracias.
7 Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros pensamientos en Cristo Jesús.
9 Lo que aprendisteis y recibisteis y oísteis y visteis en mí, esto haced; y el Dios de paz estará con vosotros.
11 … pues he aprendido a contentarme, cualquiera que sea mi situación.
19 Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme a sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.

1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Para los que se apoyan en el infinito sostenedor, el día de hoy está lleno de bendiciones.
To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings.
El Amor divino siempre ha respondido y siempre responderá a toda necesidad humana.
Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.
En la Ciencia divina, el hombre es sostenido por Dios, el Principio divino del ser. La tierra, al mandato de Dios, produce alimento para el uso del hombre. Sabiendo eso, Jesús una vez dijo: "No os afanéis por vuestra vida, qué habéis de comer o qué habéis de beber" —no arrogándose la prerrogativa de su creador, sino reconociendo que Dios, el Padre y la Madre de todos, es capaz de alimentar y vestir al hombre como lo hace con los lirios.
In divine Science, man is sustained by God, the divine Principle of being. The earth, at God's command, brings forth food for man's use. Knowing this, Jesus once said, "Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink," — presuming not on the prerogative of his creator, but recognizing God, the Father and Mother of all, as able to feed and clothe man as He doth the lilies.
Las ideas cristianas presentan ciertamente lo que las teorías humanas excluyen —el Principio de la armonía del hombre. El texto: "Todo aquel que vive y cree en mí, no morirá eternamente" no sólo contradice los sistemas humanos, sino que indica la Verdad, que se mantiene por sí misma y es eterna.

Christian ideas certainly present what human theories exclude — the Principle of man's harmony. The text, "Whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die," not only contradicts human systems, but points to the self-sustaining and eternal Truth.
The demands of Truth are spiritual, and reach the body through Mind. The best interpreter of man's needs said: "Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink."
El Espíritu es la vida, la sustancia y la continuidad de todas las cosas.
Los elementos y las funciones del cuerpo físico y del mundo físico cambiarán a medida que la mente mortal cambie de creencias. Lo que ahora se considera la mejor condición para la salud orgánica y funcional del cuerpo humano, puede que deje de considerarse indispensable para la salud. Spirit is the life, substance, and continuity of all things.
The elements and functions of the physical body and of the physical world will change as mortal mind changes its beliefs. What is now considered the best condition for organic and functional health in the human body may no longer be found indispensable to health. Moral conditions will be found always harmonious and health-giving. Neither organic inaction nor overaction is beyond God's control; and man will be found normal and natural to changed mortal thought, and therefore more harmonious in his manifestations than he was in the prior states which human belief created and sanctioned.
¿Es el Espíritu el origen o creador de la materia? La Ciencia revela que nada hay en el Espíritu de lo cual crear materia. La metafísica divina explica la inexistencia de la materia. El Espíritu es la única sustancia y la única consciencia reconocidas por la Ciencia divina.
Que la materia sea sustancial, o que tenga vida y sensación, es una de las falsas creencias de los mortales, y solo existe en una supuesta consciencia mortal. Por tanto, a medida que nos acercamos al Espíritu y a la Verdad, dejamos de estar conscientes de la materia.

Is Spirit the source or creator of matter? Science reveals nothing in Spirit out of which to create matter. Divine metaphysics explains away matter. Spirit is the only substance and consciousness recognized by divine Science.
That matter is substantial or has life and sensation, is one of the false beliefs of mortals, and exists only in a supposititious mortal consciousness. Hence, as we approach Spirit and Truth, we lose the consciousness of matter.
We define matter as error, because it is the opposite of life, substance, and intelligence. Matter, with its mortality, cannot be substantial if Spirit is substantial and eternal. Which ought to be substance to us, — the erring, changing, and dying, the mutable and mortal, or the unerring, immutable, and immortal?
Afanándoos menos "por vuestra vida, qué habéis de comer o qué habéis de beber", menos "por vuestro cuerpo, qué habéis de vestir", hará por la salud de la nueva generación mucho más de lo que soñáis. Se debiera dejar que los niños sigan siendo niños en sus conocimientos, y ellos debieran llegar a ser hombres y mujeres sólo a través del crecimiento de su comprensión de la naturaleza superior del hombre.
No debemos atribuir más y más inteligencia a la materia, sino siempre menos, si queremos ser sabios y sanos. La Mente divina, que forma el capullo y la flor, cuidará del cuerpo humano, así como viste al lirio; pero que no intervenga ningún mortal en el gobierno de Dios, interponiendo las leyes de los conceptos errados y humanos.
La naturaleza superior del hombre no está gobernada por la inferior; si lo estuviera, el orden de la sabiduría estaría invertido.
Taking less "thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink"; less thought "for your body what ye shall put on," will do much more for the health of the rising generation than you dream. Children should be allowed to remain children in knowledge, and should become men and women only through growth in the understanding of man's higher nature.
We must not attribute more and more intelligence to matter, but less and less, if we would be wise and healthy. The divine Mind, which forms the bud and blossom, will care for the human body, even as it clothes the lily; but let no mortal interfere with God's government by thrusting in the laws of erring, human concepts.
The higher nature of man is not governed by the lower; if it were, the order of wisdom would be reversed.
La mente finita manifiesta errores de toda clase, y prueba así que la teoría material de que hay mente en la materia es el antípoda de la Mente. ¿Quién ha encontrado suficiente a la vida finita o al amor finito para responder a las exigencias de la miseria y angustia humanas —para silenciar los deseos, para satisfacer las aspiraciones? Finite mind manifests all sorts of errors, and thus proves the material theory of mind in matter to be the antipode of Mind. Who hath found finite life or love sufficient to meet the demands of human want and woe, — to still the desires, to satisfy the aspirations? Infinite Mind cannot be limited to a finite form, or Mind would lose its infinite character as inexhaustible Love, eternal Life, omnipotent Truth.
Pocas personas comprenden lo que la Ciencia Cristiana da a entender con la palabra reflejo. El hombre mortal y material supone que él mismo es sustancia, pero su concepto de sustancia implica error y por eso ese concepto es material, temporal.

Few persons comprehend what Christian Science means by the word reflection. To himself, mortal and material man seems to be substance, but his sense of substance involves error and therefore is material, temporal.
On the other hand, the immortal, spiritual man is really substantial, and reflects the eternal substance, or Spirit, which mortals hope for. He reflects the divine, which constitutes the only real and eternal entity. This reflection seems to mortal sense transcendental, because the spiritual man's substantiality transcends mortal vision and is revealed only through divine Science.
As God is substance and man is the divine image and likeness, man should wish for, and in reality has, only the substance of good, the substance of Spirit, not matter.
Los mortales creen en un Dios personal y finito; mientras que Dios es Amor infinito, que tiene que ser ilimitado.

There is to-day danger of repeating the offence of the Jews by limiting the Holy One of Israel and asking: "Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?" What cannot God do?

Será deber de cada miembro de esta Iglesia orar diariamente: "Venga Tu reino"; haz que el reino de la Verdad, la Vida y el Amor divinos se establezca en mí, y quita de mí todo pecado; ¡y que Tu Palabra fecunde los afectos de toda la humanidad, y los gobierne!
Ni la animosidad ni el mero afecto personal deben impulsar los móviles o actos de los miembros de La Iglesia Madre. En la Ciencia, sólo el Amor divino gobierna al hombre, y el Científico Cristiano refleja la dulce amenidad del Amor al reprender el pecado, al expresar verdadera confraternidad, caridad y perdón. Los miembros de esta Iglesia deben velar y orar diariamente para ser liberados de todo mal, de profetizar, juzgar, condenar, aconsejar, influir o ser influidos erróneamente.
Será deber de todo miembro de esta Iglesia defenderse a diario de toda sugestión mental agresiva, y no dejarse inducir a olvido o negligencia en cuanto a su deber para con Dios, para con su Guía y para con la humanidad. Por sus obras será juzgado, — y justificado o condenado.
